The Flutenanny is Cardiff’s only unplugged open mic night. I co-host and play at the Flute’ and regularly test out new songs alongside playing with friends and co-writers.

Join us upstairs in the Flute & Tankard for performances without mics and amplifiers. Musicians, poets, storytellers and comedians are welcome.

Musicians get 3 songs and all performers can have the stage for 10-15 minutes.

Please time your set in advance to make sure as many people get a chance to perform as possible.

As we are unplugged, you will need to be quiet when you’re in the audience. If you need a break for a chat, just pop downstairs (we won’t be offended).
